If relatives already use WhatsApp, sending their invitation there can be convenient. Ask which number they use and include the country code. Meera opens the link from WhatsApp, checks the party names, accepts the reception and declines the sangeet, then submits the browser form. The host checks those two event responses in the dashboard. A message saying “we are coming” in the WhatsApp thread would still need an authorized host to record it.

Before sending, check the intended recipient and country code, confirm they use WhatsApp, and preview the link on a phone. Have another way to contact guests whose number cannot receive the invitation.

The RSVP link works exactly as it does at home

Duva sends a personal RSVP link by SMS to +1 numbers and WhatsApp to supported numbers outside +1. The guest opens a browser form, answers for the invited party members and events, and submits. A reply in the message thread does not record attendance. No Duva account is required; the form needs internet access.
